Ex-head of "Malhação" leaves acting career to assume the role of a pastor
Bruna Hamu, once a prominent figure in Brazilian television, has made a significant shift in her career. Known for her role in the telenovela "Malhação: Sonhos" in 2014, Hamu is no longer an actress. Instead, she has dedicated herself to the evangelical ministry.
Hamu's journey in ministry began after she met her husband, Leo Feltrim, in 2020. The couple got married in 2022 and are now leaders in the Flow and Vox ministries in Campinas. Hamu comes from an evangelical family and is linked to Zion Church in São Paulo, where her husband, Feltrim, is also associated.
Prior to her ministry, Hamu was in a relationship with businessman Diego Moregola and has a son, Júlio, who is 8 years old. She left her acting career to focus on her ministry, citing that soap operas and films often contain scenes contrary to her ministry practices.
In 2023, Hamu was in a high-profile relationship with footballer Neymar. However, their relationship ended in November due to Neymar's infidelities. They reconciled shortly after Hamu gave birth to their daughter. However, Hamu is currently pregnant with another child, whose pregnancy was announced this year.
Interestingly, Hamu claims to have heard a divine voice saying that Feltrim would be her future husband. This prediction seems to have come true, as the couple is now happily married and expecting another child. They also had their first child together, Joaquim, in 2024.
Despite her personal life, Hamu remains committed to her ministry. She continues to serve as a leader in the Flow and Vox ministries in Campinas, using her platform to spread her faith and inspire others.
