Charity Golf Event and Rugby Tournament
The 8th Isabel Gemio Villa de San Javier Charity Golf Tournament is set to take place on August 29 and 30 at Roda Golf. This prestigious event, known as the region's main charity golf event, is organised to benefit rare disease research. Tournament founder Germán Tezanos stated that the event has become a fixture in San Javier. The sports event is expected to attract more than 170 players.
Meanwhile, the 12th Beach Rugby Tournament will take place on August 30 at Santiago de la Ribera Beach. Sports Councillor Sergio Martínez Ros praised the effort of the organisers and the support of the venue.
Fiestas and Fairs
Lorca is preparing for its annual September Fair and Festivities, one of the region's most important cultural events. The fair will start on September 4 and continue until September 16. The Fiestas de La Manga will take place from September 17 to September 21.
The Murcia's annual fair will return this year, featuring a large craft market and the panoramic Ferris wheel. Tickets for a ride on the Ferris wheel have increased to €6.
