Exhibition extravaganza in Munich: performance vehicles and electric excitement at IAA 2025
The IAA Mobility 2025 event in Munich is set to redefine the concept of mobility, promising anything but a typical business gathering. From September 9 to 14, the city will play host to hundreds of thousands of visitors, as the event themed "It's All About Mobility" takes centre stage.
At the heart of the action is the Mini Pavilion at Lenbachplatz, which has been redesigned especially for the occasion. Visitors can get a close-up look at Mini's all-electric future, with the Mini JCW Electric, Aceman SE, and Countryman SE ALL4 on display.
Test drives for these vehicles are also available, courtesy of Mini and Sixt, offering an opportunity for enthusiasts to experience the electric revolution first-hand.
Two exclusive John Cooper Works show cars have been unveiled in collaboration with the internationally renowned lifestyle brand, Deus Ex Machina. These show cars embody the spirit of JCW racing with a playful twist, reflecting the cheeky British humor that is a hallmark of the Mini brand.
One of the highlights of the event is Mini's "Community Day" on September 13. Mini fans are not just spectators this year; they are part of the show. Mini clubs will drive in convoy from Lake Tegernsee to the Pavilion, followed by music, a BBQ, and bonnet-to-bonnet banter.
The "Open Space" installation at Max-Joseph-Platz in Munich is another unique feature of the event. This pint-sized London cityscape replicates the charm of the British capital, adding a touch of whimsy to the proceedings.
The Mini JCW Electric boasts a WLTP range of 363 to 371 km and consumes 15.3 to 15.6 kWh/100 km. The Aceman SE has a consumption of 14.0 to 14.8 kWh/100 km, while the Countryman SE ALL4 offers a range of 399 to 432 km and consumes 16.8 to 18.5 kWh/100 km.
