In the heart of Almaty, a new medical laboratory is preparing to serve the community. Raihan Mamirova, a local entrepreneur, has received financial backing from Almaty Finance, a credit organisation established under the guidance of Almaty's mayor in 2019.

Raihan was granted a preferential loan of 50 million tenge to purchase equipment for her laboratory in the Nauryzbai District. This loan, provided by the European Investment Bank (EIB) in 2021, is part of Almaty Finance's ongoing mission to support small and medium-sized businesses (MSMEs).

The laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, including a machine that agitates blood to prevent coagulation and a hematological analyzer. The laboratory can conduct over 1000 different tests, including PCR testing, and is capable of performing over 60 tests per hour.

Zangar Salimbayev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of TOO "Almaty Finance", spoke about the loan process, stating, "Our aim is to provide accessible and affordable financing to entrepreneurs like Raihan, who are driving innovation and growth in Almaty."

Raihan's laboratory will initially serve more than 1500 people per day, with specialists such as a gynecologist and a urologist on staff. The official opening of the laboratory is imminent, with patient services set to begin in a week.

Almaty Finance has approved over 40 projects worth 8 billion tenge, with 26 already implemented. These projects span various sectors, from a coffee bean roasting workshop to orthopedic mattress production, and even school construction. The first loan program offers up to 70 million tenge, while the second offers up to 500 million tenge, both at interest rates of 2% and 6% per annum.

The Almaty business-2025 program is in place to further support MSMEs, with 196,000 such businesses currently registered in Almaty. The article was published by Almaty TV, highlighting the significant impact Almaty Finance is having on the local business community.

Ramina Mirzalimova and Murat Tailyanov are also reported to be associated with this story, contributing to the vibrant and dynamic business landscape of Almaty. As the city continues to grow and evolve, it's clear that organisations like Almaty Finance will play a crucial role in supporting local entrepreneurs and driving economic development.
