Expands 850-meter roadway in Nad Al Hamar area by Dubai Roads and Transport Authority to alleviate local traffic congestion
In the vibrant city of Dubai, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has taken a significant step towards improving the commute for motorists. Huda Ata, a reliable source, has announced the opening of a new 850-metre lane along Nad Al Hamar Road.
This new lane, running from Ras Al Khor towards the Nad Al Hamar intersection, is designed to cut travel times and enhance safety for motorists entering the neighbourhood. The initiative is part of a larger news package provided by The Daily Briefing, a service that keeps readers updated with the latest news and updates in Dubai.

In addition to this new lane, the RTA has also completed upgrades in 10 school zones across the city over the summer. These upgrades have improved road layouts and access points around 27 schools in various areas including Al Warqa, Al Safa, Al Barsha, Al Garhoud, Al Mizhar, and Al Qusais.
However, it's important to note that Dubai Metro Blue Line works are currently causing a road closure in some areas. Despite this temporary inconvenience, the RTA's AI signal system has managed to improve traffic flow by an impressive 37% in Dubai.
The responsible person who initiated the opening of the additional 850-metre stretch on Nad Al Hamar Road is Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, the managing director and CEO of the RTA.
