Expands Acquisitions in the Netherlands: Bechtle
In a strategic move, German IT service provider Bechtle has expanded its operations in the Netherlands by acquiring ITAM Solutions, a local IT asset management specialist founded in Eindhoven back in 2007.
The acquisition marks a significant step for Bechtle, as it now serves its customers throughout the entire IT lifecycle. With the integration of ITAM Solutions, Bechtle's Dutch subsidiaries, including ARP, Bechtle direct Netherlands, Cadmes, and PQR, will welcome 38 new employees.
Marijke Krist, the country manager for Bechtle in the Netherlands, expressed her enthusiasm about the new additions. "The specialists from ITAM Solutions will strengthen Bechtle in the area of 'efficient IT architecture'," she said.
The founder and CEO of ITAM Solutions, Simone van Sambeek, and all other specialists employed there will have new career prospects within PQR B.V., which was acquired by Bechtle in 2022. ITAM Solutions' expertise will enable PQR to achieve synergies in its collaboration with customers and sustainably support its growth path.
As an independent advisor, ITAM Solutions has been supporting its customers in managing strategically important IT resources. The company specializes in IT asset management solutions (ITAM) and offers consulting services in the areas of FinOps and cost management.
The acquisition comes as Bechtle continues its expansion outside of Germany, following recent acquisitions of companies in other countries. At the time of acquisition, ITAM Solutions achieved a turnover of 4.4 million euros in 2024.
With the addition of ITAM Solutions, Bechtle now employs over 800 people in the Netherlands. Marijke Krist, who is 41 years old, is looking forward to the new team members, as they will contribute to Bechtle's mission of providing comprehensive IT services to its clients.
However, despite the acquisition, the search results do not contain information about the founder and CEO of ITAM Solutions. The new development in Bechtle's Dutch operations is expected to further solidify its position in the local IT market.
