Acer has made a splash at this year's IFA 2025 in Berlin, showcasing an impressive lineup of gaming devices that promise to deliver top-tier performance. Among the highlights are the Predator Helios 18P AI laptop, Predator Orion 7000 gaming desktop, and the Nitro series laptops and desktops.
The Predator Helios 18P AI Laptop
The Predator Helios 18P AI laptop is a massive 18-inch laptop, weighing 7.7 pounds. This colossal device is equipped with up to an Nvidia RTX 5090 graphics chip, making it a powerhouse for gamers seeking the ultimate visual experience. The laptop also supports up to 192GB of ECC memory, ensuring smooth gameplay even with demanding applications.
The Predator Helios 18P AI laptop boasts a 18-inch, 16:10 Mini LED, 3,840x2,400 4K display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,000 nits of brightness. This stunning display offers an immersive gaming experience, with vibrant colours and crystal-clear visuals.
The Predator Orion 7000 Gaming Desktop
The Predator Orion 7000 gaming desktop is another powerhouse from Acer. Equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 GPU, this desktop promises lightning-fast performance for even the most demanding games.

Acer's Nitro series also received an upgrade, with the Nitro V 16 and Nitro V 16S laptops and the Nitro 70 and Nitro 50 gaming desktops being unveiled.
The Nitro V 16 laptop features a 16-inch, 2,560x1,600-pixel display with a 180Hz refresh rate. This laptop is equipped with up to an Intel Core 9 270H processor and supports up to an Nvidia RTX 5070 laptop GPU.
The Nitro V 16S is a more portable version of the Nitro V 16, with a slim metal chassis that's only 19.9 millimeters thick. This sleek laptop will cost an extra $100, starting at $1,099.
The Nitro 70 gaming desktop is available with an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor and Nvidia RTX 5090 GPU. Meanwhile, the Nitro 50 gaming desktop is available with an AMD Ryzen 7 8700G processor and Nvidia RTX 5080 GPU. However, the Nitro N50 N50-100 and Nitro 70 N70X3D-100 models will not be released in North America.
Competition in the Gaming Market
