Fans of football sustaining injuries in lot "Nadelöhr", with an Audi A5 reportedly taken captive
In the district of Rotenburg a. d. Fulda, an incident involving a physical attack on football fans has left nine individuals injured, some severely. The attack occurred on Saturday evening at the "Nadelöhr" parking lot on the A4, where a bus carrying fans from Energie Cottbus had stopped.
Around 9 PM, several vehicles with fans of another football club arrived at the same parking lot. The fans from the other club allegedly attacked the fans on the bus without provocation, injuring nine people, aged between 21 and 53. Two of the injured were taken to nearby hospitals for further medical treatment by ambulance.
The police arrived shortly after the incident but could not find the perpetrators, who fled the scene. The search for the perpetrators is ongoing.
In a separate incident, a black Audi A5 Coupé was stolen from the "Auf dem Schilderskopf" street between Saturday night (08.03.) and Sunday morning (09.03.). Anyone with information about the stolen Audi A5 is asked to contact the Rotenburg a. d. Fulda police station, any other police station, or via the online police station at www.polizei.hessen.de.
