Ferrari Unveils Formula 1 Monoplace in Upcoming Madrid Store

Ferrari is set to make a grand entrance into Madrid's luxury retail scene, with plans to install a Formula 1 monoplace in its upcoming store at number 6 of Serrano Street. The store, spanning over 500 square meters across two floors, was initially intended to open its doors in the last days of December or the first of January, but due to unexpected delays, the opening has been pushed back to the end of February.

The delay is attributed to the adaptation works of the local being slower and more difficult than anticipated. Despite the setback, Ferrari remains committed to its expansion in Spain, with plans to open new official stores in Valencia, Marbella, and Madrid Airport.

Ferrari's Madrid store will mark the firm's third official clothing and accessories store in Spain. The company's first store in Spain opened in May on Barcelona's Paseo de Gracia, followed by another store in Malaga in June. Ferrari also has a point of sale at Barcelona Airport, under the franchise regime.

The store, conceived as a luxury haven for Ferrari fans, will offer a wide range of Formula 1 merchandise and fashion for adults and children. Some of Ferrari's pilots, Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa, are expected to attend the store's inauguration.

Alex Montera, who is associated with the Italian automobile company, is likely to play a significant role in the expansion of Ferrari's presence in Spain. However, the responsibility for searching for store locations for additional official Ferrari stores in Spain lies with the commercial or retail expansion team within Ferrari or their appointed franchise/partner.

Notably, the space that Ferrari's store will occupy was previously empty since the end of April, when the store of the American group Tommy Hilfiger closed and moved to number 26 of the neighboring Claudio Coello Street.

Ferrari currently operates more than forty own stores worldwide, reflecting its global appeal and the enduring allure of the iconic brand. With the upcoming Madrid store, Ferrari continues to solidify its position as a leader in the luxury retail industry.
