Festivities Erupt at Benrath Castle, Dusseldorf: A Joyous, Vibrant Spectacle of Revelry
In the historic Caecilian Stift in Benrath, the Benrather Castle Fools hosted a memorable costume party that lived up to its name. The event was graced by the presence of Castle Graf Jens, accompanied by Mareike, Anki, and David. However, his Castle Grafin Kahra was unable to attend due to illness.
The Werstener Music Company, a local group, arrived late but quickly filled the dance floor with their energetic performance, adding to the lively atmosphere of the night. The music company provided entertainment that had everyone on their feet, rocking the hall.
The program for the evening was diverse, featuring performances by the dance corps Rot-Weiß Bechen, the Jollies, and the show dance group Shiva. One of the highlights was the session dance of the Tollitaeten, which swept through the hall, leaving everyone in awe.
The children's dance guard of the Benrather Castle Fools also put on a show, improving from session to session. Their performance was a testament to their dedication and hard work.
The prince's couple of the KG Gemeinsam Jeck were also in attendance, adding an air of royalty to the event. The evening was further enlivened by the performances of Marcus Creutz, the 1st Chairman of the Castle Fools, who led the polonaise, despite the limited space.
