Andre Findeisen, a seasoned professional with over 16 years of experience in the energy industry, is set to join the Berlin headquarters and EU liaison office at the Federal Association of Natural Gas, Oil, and Geothermal Energy (BVEG) in April 2024.

Findeisen's career in the energy sector began in 2006, but prior to this, he held political roles in Brussels and Strasbourg, serving as the office leader for an MEP. His foray into the energy industry came in 2014 when he joined Wintershall Dea, where he served as Head of Gas Advocacy.

During his tenure at Wintershall Dea, Findeisen was responsible for overseeing political communication on all gas-related topics in both Berlin and Brussels. He also held various positions at WINGAS, supporting executive management on special projects and being responsible for political lobbying in Brussels.

Findeisen's new role at the BVEG will involve leadership responsibilities. He will be leaving Wintershall Dea to take on this challenge, marking a significant change in his career.

Before joining the energy sector, Findeisen led the office of an MEP in Brussels and Strasbourg, providing him with valuable political experience that he has since brought to his roles at WINGAS and Wintershall Dea.

The BVEG, as the largest association of the natural gas, oil, and geothermal energy industry in Germany, will undoubtedly benefit from Findeisen's extensive experience and expertise in the sector. His appointment is set to strengthen the association's advocacy efforts, particularly in the areas of gas-related policies.

Findeisen's start date at the BVEG is scheduled for April 2024. Until then, he will continue to serve his duties at Wintershall Dea. The search results do not provide information on when Findeisen was previously active in the energy industry or what his last position there was.
