Fintech entrepreneur Jessica Holzbach assumes the role of leading figure at venture builder 0TO9 in Germany.
Jessica Holzbach, a Swedish serial entrepreneur and investor, is embarking on a new venture as she transitions from founder to venture builder with the fintech company builder, 0TO9.
Holzbach made her mark in the fintech industry with the business-to-business Fintech Penta, which she co-founded in 2017. Under her leadership, Penta grew and became a successful part of Finleap, a network founded by Ramin Niroumand that provided internal knowledge and the spirit of the founder community. Penta joined Finleap's portfolio during its Series A and later had a successful exit to Quonto.
Following Penta, Holzbach built and sold the crypto Fintech Pile. Now, she is ready to leverage her past experiences for sustainable growth at 0TO9, with self-determined, creative work as the key.
0TO9, founded by Oliver Hildebrandt and Henrik Landgren, aims to help 1,000 scalable financial companies across Europe over the next two decades. The company provides investment capital, a banking license, deposit financing, regulatory and legal support, brand building assistance, robust tech infrastructure, and strategic guidance for European market entry. Some of its ventures include HUGO (an AI savings assistant), Plus1 (a Swedish consumer lending provider), and Fuels Capital (a platform for securities-backed loans).
In her new role at 0TO9, Holzbach aims to bring qualified operators from established companies to the founder side. She has also been appointed as the CEO Germany for the setup of 0TO9's German hub. Moreover, Holzbach has been an active angel investor and has been appointed as the youngest woman to the supervisory board of a German bank.
Holzbach's transition to 0TO9 marks an exciting new chapter in her career, as she continues to make her mark in the fintech industry. With her experience, expertise, and passion for innovation, she is poised to help build and grow many successful fintech startups across Europe.
