Fire Department of Arnsberg receives an extra drone due to a generous donation, enhancing their security technology.
The Arnsberg Fire Department has received a new deployment drone, donated by Figgen and Steinberg, a Neheim-based company active in insurance mediation. This generous donation is another example of Figgen and Steinberg's close ties to the city of Arnsberg and its fire department.
Each of the two drones has specific strengths that complement each other ideally. One drone, stationed at the Neheim fire station, will continue its vital work, while the new drone will be deployed in the command vehicle of the Bruchhausen / Niedereimer fire station after training.
The drone group of Arnsberg Fire Department, led by Sven Wrede and consisting of 15 members from various units, has successfully provided detailed aerial photographs, quick situation assessments, and valuable information in critical moments. The new drone will optimally complement the existing system, further strengthening the support the drone group has provided to the deployment leadership for seven years.
