Fire Incident Causes Smoke Exposure for Multiple Tomics (Updated)
A fire broke out at 48/1 Elijahov Street, Tomsk, on August 22nd. The blaze started in an apartment on the ninth floor at 4 am today, causing damage to two apartments and leaving three people injured.
The man who started the fire was in an irrational state and began shooting in the apartment, which is believed to have caused the fire. The shooting has not been publicly identified by name.
Upon receiving the call, 26 firefighters rushed to the scene, using 8 units of equipment to extinguish the blaze. The fire covered an area of 30 square meters, and the corridors, plastic window frames, and balconies were left soot-stained and melted.
The three injured individuals are a 38-year-old man and two women, aged 57 and 63. The man is receiving outpatient treatment, while the two women have been hospitalized in moderate condition.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown, and an investigation is ongoing to determine the exact cause. The regional health department has provided an update on the condition of the Tomsk victims, and fortunately, there were no fatalities.
The incident has left the community shaken, with many residents expressing their concern for the safety of their homes. The authorities have assured the public that they are doing everything in their power to investigate the cause of the fire and prevent such incidents from happening in the future.
