Konstanz Fire Department Shines at the 3rd Firefighter Combat Challenge Stuttgart

The Konstanz Fire Department made a strong showing at the 3rd Firefighter Combat Challenge Stuttgart, held on August 16, 2025, at the Panzerkaserne Boeblingen, US Army Garrison Stuttgart. Three representatives from the Konstanz team participated in the event, attracting a predominantly regional German and American (from Spangdahlem and Ramstein) participant field.

In the individual category, all three Konstanz participants competed, tackling various tasks in a course while wearing breathing apparatus. Tim Schaffert, one of the Konstanz Fire Department representatives, excelled in this category, securing a second place in his age group. His achievement marked his first competition of this kind, making his performance all the more impressive.

The Konstanz Fire Department also fielded a team in the "Tandem" category, where two firefighters share the course and symbolically pass a baton at the exchange. Andreas Wilhelm and Sven Reuter represented Konstanz in this category, demonstrating teamwork and determination throughout the competition.

The results of the Konstanz Fire Department participants have been announced, and their overall performance is being warmly congratulated.
