Five entities – Steets, Muvn, Krydda, FlaveAir, and AIR CUBE – confront the majestic lions
In the latest episode of "Die Höhle der Löwen", a diverse array of innovative ideas were presented, ranging from revolutionizing toilet hygiene to transforming the taste of tofu.
One of the standout presentations was from Heinz Schlechtingen, a 98-year-old entrepreneur, and his team, who introduced Steets - a solution for securing walking aids. The idea for Steets came from the founders' family's daily life, as they needed a solution for preventing walking aids from falling over. Frank Thelen praised Steets as one of the most elegant solutions he's ever seen in the Lion's Den.
Another intriguing idea was presented by Arne Engelke, the founder of krydda. His instant marinade powder for tofu, the Tofu Finisher, transforms pan-fried tofu into a flavor bomb in no time. The product has been well-received, with some lions seeing the potential for a million-dollar product, despite concerns about potential targeting of children.
The lions were also moved by the family's story, thrilled by the clever tech, and impressed by the charming record-holder, Heinz Schlechtingen, who turned 99 shortly after his appearance on the show.
Nils Stögbauer and Randolph "Randy" Skrok, founders of FlaveAir, presented the FlaveAir Stick, a modular pleasure system without sugar, calories, or artificial additives. The motivation behind FlaveAir is Nils Stögbauer's personal loss of his mother to cancer, inspiring him to develop a healthy alternative to indulgent products. Over 4,500 customers have tested the device, with the Environmental Institute confirming its effectiveness.
Giuseppe Leo, a former footballer, introduced AIR CUBE, a product from Munich, which is a revolution in toilet hygiene. The AIR CUBE, attached to any standard toilet using a universal mount, activates with a motion sensor, and releases millions of positively charged ions to eliminate germs and dirt at a molecular level.
Lastly, the Hamburg startup muvn aims to revolutionize the transport of goods by connecting senders and drivers to optimally use unused space in vehicles. The lions are currently in a heated competition for a deal with these innovative startups, with four lions vying fiercely for a stake in each company. The valuation of these companies has sparked lively discussions between the lions and founders, with offers ranging from 150,000 euros for a 15% stake to 300,000 euros for the same percentage of shares.
In this episode of "Die Höhle der Löwen", viewers were treated to a captivating display of innovation, determination, and heartwarming stories, making for an exciting and emotional viewing experience.
