Following the tragedy of the terror operation, the city's healthcare system is organizing a public discussion regarding health matters.

Following the unfortunate terrorist incident, the city's health authority is arranging a public consultation meeting.

In the heart of Solingen, the city that was shaken by the terrorist attack on the Fronhof on August 23, a new initiative has been introduced to offer support and conversation to those affected. The Health Department has established a new conversation offer at The Glass Workshop, located in the city centre at Hauptstraße 61-63.

This open, low-threshold conversation offer is not a replacement for the regular support system but an additional resource for those in need. Conversations will be held every Wednesday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and every Friday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, providing a safe and protected space for individuals to share their experiences, exchange ideas, and develop strategies for processing.

The conversation offer is part of the extensive list of support and conversation offers published by the city following the attack. The emergency pastoral care, which was present in the first days after the incident, has been reintegrated into the regular parish pastoral care and is no longer on site.

It is important to note that this conversation offer is not a therapeutic service. However, if severe psychological consequences are identified during conversations, those affected will be referred to the regular support system. If necessary, those attending the conversations at The Glass Workshop will be guided towards the appropriate resources.

The Glass Workshop, where the new conversation offer takes place, is a well-known location in the city centre. Starting on September 11, this conversation offer will continue until October 2, providing a valuable opportunity for those affected by the attack to come together and find support in their healing process.

The city of Solingen continues to stand united in the face of adversity, offering open arms and a listening ear to those who need it most. The conversation offer at The Glass Workshop is just one example of the community's commitment to supporting each other during these challenging times.
