Foodstuff labeling laws across European Union member states have yet to be harmonized through a proposed directive by the Commission.

The BGSV Bochum's annual friendly tournament, held over the last weekend of August in 2025, saw a strong performance from the Minigolfclub Wanne-Eickel. The club fielded the largest group of players, totaling 15, which included their youth team in a joint venture with Hamm.

In the youth/scholars category, Sonja Knoll from Wanne-Eickel finished a commendable third place, scoring 98 points over the three rounds. Her consistent performance was a highlight of the tournament. Mika Grajek and Mark Omoruyi also represented Wanne-Eickel in this category, with Mika finishing 5th and Mark securing 4th place. Notably, Jan Dorny from the youth category of Wanne-Eickel scored 94 points, finishing a close second. The Hamm/Wanne-Eickel youth team performed well, with Jan improving round by round, Sonja playing consistently, and Mark and Mika having a few tough holes but playing well.

In the Senior I category, the competition was fierce. Peter Kling from BGSC Bochum scored the best with 85 points, securing the first place. Fabrice Lange from Porzer MGC scored 87 points, placing third, while Patrick Knoll from Wanne-Eickel scored 93 points but lost a playoff for 3rd place. The remaining participants included Reinhard Mahn who finished 9th, Jürgen Praedel who finished 22nd, Jürgen Stürzebecher who finished 20th, Roland Winter who finished 15th, and Joachim Garden who finished 8th.

Unfortunately, the search results do not provide the name of the winner of the Senior-II category at the tournament. However, Elke Stürzebecher from Wanne-Eickel won a trophy in Senior II for her 3rd place.

Timon Sehnert finished 8th in the men's category, but the results for the Senior-II category remain unclear. The weather during the tournament was dry and moderately warm, providing ideal conditions for a friendly competition.

The BGSV Bochum's friendly tournament concluded with a strong showing from the Minigolfclub Wanne-Eickel, showcasing their dedication and skill in the sport. The club looks forward to next year's tournament with anticipation.
