Football speculations suggest Trevon Diggs' participation in Week 1 is imminent for the Cowboys.
Dallas Cowboys' Trevon Diggs Set to Return for Week 1
After undergoing knee surgery in December, cornerback Trevon Diggs of the Dallas Cowboys is set to make his return for the team's Week 1 game against the Philadelphia Eagles, scheduled for Thursday night.
Diggs, a native of Gaithersburg, underwent surgery for articular cartilage in his knee but has rebounded quickly. He was a full participant in Monday's practice, including scout team reps, according to Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News.
The news of Diggs' expected return was also shared by Tom Pelissero on Wednesday's episode of Good Morning Football. Diggs himself stated that he feels good and Thursday may be looking good for his return.
Last season, Diggs was a crucial part of the Cowboys' defence, forming a formidable trio with Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott, and Amari Cooper, affectionately known as the "Three Amigos."
However, the Cowboys will be without another key player for their season opener. Linebacker Micah Parsons will not be available for the start of the 2025 NFL season.
Offensive tackle Tyler Guyton is also expected to play in Thursday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Cowboys and the Eagles faced off in Week 1 last season, with the Cowboys emerging victorious. This rematch is eagerly anticipated by fans of both teams.
Stay tuned for more updates on the Dallas Cowboys and their upcoming season.
