Foreign worker in UAE secures Dh15 million victory in Big Ticket Abu Dhabi raffle draw
In a life-changing turn of events, a 30-year-old technician based in Dubai named Sandeep Kumar Prasad has won Dh15 million in the August jackpot of Big Ticket Abu Dhabi. Originally from Uttar Pradesh, India, Sandeep has been living in the UAE for three years.
Sandeep's win came as a result of a collective purchase by 20 friends. He learned about Big Ticket from his peers and decided to take part, hoping for the best. His winning ticket number, 019706, was purchased on August 23.
Sandeep was left speechless when show host Richard called to deliver the life-changing news. The victory has given him the strength and optimism to support his loved ones and create a better future for them, as his father's health has been weighing heavily on his heart.

Among the winners were Dubai-based Ranjith Nair, an overseas participant from India, Nikhil Raj from Kuwait, a Dubai-based expat from Jordan, and Mohammed Rashid, a Bangladeshi expat living in Dubai. Shameem Moolathil Hamza Moolathil, an Indian expat living in Abu Dhabi, won a BMW M444i, but the winner's name and country of residence for the September edition of the Big Ticket Abu Dhabi remain unknown.
Jogendra Jangir, a Big Win (spin the wheel) winner, claimed Dh140,000 and plans to use the prize to pay off his housing loan and donate to charity. Jiju Jacob from Mumbai won Dh130,000. The third Big Win contestant, Sharadh from Kerala, claimed Dh130,000 and plans to share the prize with 20 friends.
Sattar Mazeeha, another winner, plans to take his family on a trip to the US with his winnings of Dh100,000. The winning ticket number for the BMW M440i was not disclosed, and there are no available search results providing the name or country of residence of the winner in the September edition of the Big Ticket Abu Dhabi.
