Ex-Borussia Dortmund Coach Takes Position as RTL TV Specialist - Former BVB coach transitions to television analyst at RTL

Edin Terzic, the former Borussia Dortmund coach, has taken a new role as a TV expert at RTL. The announcement was made by RTL on Wednesday, and Terzic will make his debut during the German national football team's match against Northern Ireland this Sunday.

Terzic, aged 42, spent 14 years at Borussia Dortmund, with a short interruption, living his dream for nine years. He had two coaching terms at Dortmund, winning the DFB-Pokal in 2021 and reaching the Champions League final in 2024.

Ivo Hrstic, head of sports at RTL News, praised Terzic's modern approach, clear analyses, and credible closeness to the game. Terzic's role at RTL involves bringing his perspective as a trainer closer to fans.

The match will take place in Cologne. The kick-off for the World Cup qualifying match between the German team and Northern Ireland is scheduled for 20:45. Terzic will be visible before the match at 19:05 and after the game, also via RTL.

Terzic considers the German national team as a source of great stories. He will be appearing alongside Lothar Matthäus (64) during the match. The video announcing Terzic's departure from Borussia Dortmund was shared by the club.

Edin Terzic is excited about his new role at RTL. His addition to RTL's coverage is expected to give sports broadcasts new impulses. RTL has described Terzic as their new "TV trainer expert".

The former Borussia Dortmund coach is looking forward to his new job. Terzic will make his TV debut during the Germany vs. Northern Ireland World Cup qualifying match on Sunday.
