Four young individuals sustain severe injuries following a collision between a Volkswagen and a bus stop.
In the early hours of Sunday morning, a dramatic incident occurred near Hann. Münden. A Volkswagen Golf veered off the road, skidding in a slight right turn before crashing head-on into a glass bus stop.
The accident, which took place around 0:30 AM, left the bus stop with significant damage. Fortunately, no passersby were injured in the incident. However, the Volkswagen Golf was completely destroyed, and the crash resulted in injuries for the four occupants.
The 18-year-old driver of the VW Golf, whose name is not currently available in the search results, was among the injured. The driver and another occupant sustained severe injuries, while the other two were lightly injured.
Tragically, a motorcyclist was also involved in the accident. He crashed and flew into the Volkswagen Golf, resulting in his death at the scene. The motorcyclist was a 58-year-old man.
At the time of the accident, no buses were departing from the ZOB. The investigation into the exact cause of the accident is ongoing.
