Funding Allotted for Implementing a Novel Training Program for Youth Development
The city of Essen has opened applications for the "Ehrenamtsstipendium für junge Engagierte," a scholarship programme aimed at young volunteers. The application deadline is 31 October, 2025.
Interested parties must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Applicants must be at least 18 and not older than 27 years old in the year 2026.
- They must be in a school, vocational training, studying, or in a voluntary social year in 2026.
- Applicants must be active honorary members of an association, federation, or similar institution based in Essen and not already receiving other funding such as the Deutschlandstipendium.
- Applicants cannot already be receiving other funding such as the Deutschlandstipendium.
The scholarships offer €150 per month for a year. The allocation of scholarships will be done through a lottery after the application phase.
