Matsuri Technologies Raises Series D Funding

Matsuri Technologies, a Tokyo-based provider of StayX, has completed a Series D funding round, raising JPY 1.34 billion (USD 8.5 million). The round involved investors such as SMBC Venture Capital and East Ventures. With the fresh capital, Matsuri plans to expand into Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam.

Stanly Secures Pre-Series A Funding

Stanly, a platform for fans to connect, engage, and celebrate their favourite fandoms, has raised USD 8 million in pre-Series A funding. The platform supports 50 popular fandoms and offers fan-to-fan and artist-to-fan communication and commerce.

Octayne Green Fuels Aims for Carbon-Neutral Fuel

Octayne Green Fuels, a Singapore-based waste-to-energy venture, has secured pre-seed funding of USD 525,000 from Wavemaker Impact. The company aims to convert agricultural biowaste into a carbon-neutral fuel alternative. Octayne Green Fuels initially targets Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam, and plans to tap into Southeast Asia's agricultural sector, which generates over 400 million tons of post-harvest crop residue.

AgriG8 Decarbonizes Rice Production

AgriG8, a Singapore-based startup, has received an undisclosed investment to help smallholder farmers in rice-growing Asian countries reduce their methane emissions. The company's digital platform provides access to finance and incentivizes methane-reducing farming practices.

Naturality Digital and Zhenli New Materials Secure Funding

Naturality Digital, a tech-enabled digital marketing agency, has secured an eight-figure RMB sum in a pre-Series A+ round of financing. The round was led by FreesFund with continued investment from existing shareholder MiraclePlus. Meanwhile, Zhenli New Materials, a new energy materials developer, has raised an eight-figure RMB sum in an angel funding round. The investor details were not disclosed.

BayaniPay Expands Global Payments Capability

BayaniPay, a payments automation company based in Los Angeles and the Philippines, has raised an additional USD 3 million, bringing its Series A funding to USD 9.6 million. The fresh capital will enable BayaniPay to enhance its global payments capability and drive its growth this year. The company is also planning to expand its bill payment service, enabling payments from the US and globally.

Aoda Biotechnology Completes Series A Funding

Aoda Biotechnology, a Chengdu-based biopharmaceutical company, has completed its Series A financing round. The investors include Renxi Technology Innovation Investment and Green Pine Capital Partners. The company is planning to launch Bayani GlobalPay, comprising GlobalPay, a white-label custom payment platform, and GlobalPay Express, an all-in-one payment portal.

StayX Transforms Single-Use Rooms

Lastly, Matsuri Technologies' solution, StayX, is a solution for converting single-use rooms into multiple-use spaces. The fresh capital will enable Matsuri to enhance its software offerings, increase the number of facilities, invest in talent, and support overseas expansion.

These funding rounds mark significant milestones for these innovative startups, signalling their commitment to making a positive impact in their respective industries.
