Gambling platform FanDuel appoints RG industry veteran Keith Whyte as strategic advisor for responsible gaming initiatives
FanDuel, a leading online sportsbook and gaming company, has announced the appointment of Keith Whyte as their Responsible Gaming Strategic Advisor. With over three decades of experience in the responsible gaming sector, Whyte is set to bolster FanDuel's existing efforts and initiatives in this area.
Whyte, the founder and president of Safer Gambling Strategies, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to FanDuel. He spent 25 years as the executive director of the National Council on Problem Gambling, where he made significant strides in promoting safer gambling and advancing responsible gaming partnerships.
In his new role, Whyte will be tasked with developing events to foster a culture of responsible gaming at FanDuel. He will also provide advice on new content for FanDuel's Trusted Voices: Conversations About Betting program, a joint initiative with EPIC Global Solutions and FanDuel RG ambassadors Randy Livingston and Anita Ondine Smith. The goal of the Trusted Voices program is to teach parents, guardians, and educators on how to properly communicate the risks of gambling to kids and young people.
