Gathering of young individuals commences in Nieder-Roden
The Youth Center in Rodgau, Nieder-Roden is a welcoming space for children and young people aged 9 and above, open every Wednesday from 3 to 7 pm. From October to March, the center extends its hours to include Thursdays as well.
Located at Puiseauxplatz 4, the center offers a range of leisure activities and low-threshold counseling services. The center is supervised by pedagogical specialist Yasemin Kök and student assistant Marc Vath.
The leisure activities at the center are designed to encourage interaction and creativity. You'll find a pool table, ping pong table, Nintendo Switch, sound system, movement room, creative area for painting and crafting, and a large selection of board games.
One unique feature is the integrated kitchen, where a joint cooking session takes place every Wednesday. This provides an opportunity for young people to actively participate, work together, and exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere.
In addition to these activities, the center also offers a space for young people to discuss personal matters with trained staff. Yasemin Kök and Marc Vath are available to support young people, offering confidential conversations and counseling services from an office within the center.
During the warmer months, the center takes a break on Thursdays as the Youth Mobile operates at Puiseauxplatz instead. From October to March, the operation of the Youth Mobile is paused, and the center resumes its regular schedule.
