Georgia approaches privatization goals, reporting 204.8 million GEL in assets sold

The Georgian government has reported impressive results in its privatization efforts for the first seven months of 2025. According to the Ministry of Finance Treasury, the state budget has received a total of 204.803 million GEL from privatization proceeds.

The revenue from the sale of fixed assets, such as buildings and structures, amounted to 108.732 million GEL, representing 82.4% of the forecasted 132 million GEL for fixed assets. The sales of land generated 17.7324 million GEL, slightly exceeding the forecast of 17.7 million GEL (100.2%).

The privatization plan for Georgia in 2025 is set at 300 million GEL. The revenue from licenses for the use of the radio frequency spectrum in Georgia from January-July 2025 was 78.34 million GEL, meeting 100.1% of the 78.3 million GEL forecast. Revenues from non-produced assets reached 96.072 million GEL, surpassing expectations at 100.1% of the forecasted 96 million GEL for non-produced assets.
