German Federal Police Directorate in Munich: Operation during Munich Security Conference
The Federal Police Inspection Munich has announced that approximately 250 police officers, including service dog handlers and super-recognizers, will be on duty together starting from Friday morning, in preparation for the peak time on Saturday, during the 61st Munich Security Conference (MSC) which takes place from February 14 to 16, 2025, in Munich.
This information was shared by the Bundespolizeidirektion München, via news aktuell. The Federal Police Inspection Munich, under the leadership of Bundespolizeidirektor Steffen Quaas, has its headquarters in Munich since the 61st Munich Sicherheitskonferenz 2025.
The main focus of the police deployment will be on the main, east, and Pasing stations, as well as the S-Bahn stations Karlsplatz (Stachus), Marienplatz, and the S-Bahn Stammstrecke. The Federal Police Inspection Munich is responsible for police danger prevention and criminal prosecution in Deutsche Bahn facilities and the largest German S-Bahn network.
