Global Box Office Revenue for Lokah at Day 7 surpasses the 100-crore mark, thanks to Kalyani Priyadarshan's successful film.
In an exciting turn of events, the Malayalam superhero film Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, produced by Dulquer Salmaan's Wayfarer Films, has achieved a major milestone. The movie, which stars Kalyani Priyadarshan, has entered the coveted Rs 100 crore club worldwide in its first week.
The film, directed by Dominic Arun, had a slow start, earning only Rs 2.7 crore on Day 1. However, positive word of mouth led to significant earnings growth. By Day 5, Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra had collected Rs 7.2 crore, and this figure rose to Rs 7.65 crore on Day 6.
The movie continued to perform well on Day 7, earning Rs 6.75 crore. Night shows had the highest occupancy rate of 55.23%, with evening shows following closely behind at 51.64%. The afternoon shows increased the occupancy rate to 47.81%, and morning shows started the day with an occupancy rate of 39.28%.
Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra is performing exceptionally well in India and is inching closer to the Rs 50 crore mark. As of Wednesday evening, the film had already earned Rs 93.75 crore at the global box office within six days of release.
