Global gaming company WPT, or World Poker Tour, declares support for the high-stakes poker tournament, the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series.
WPT Global Partners with Triton Poker for the Super High Roller Series
WPT Global, a leading platform providing updates on the poker world, has announced a partnership with Triton Poker. This alliance marks a significant move in the poker community, as WPT Global will sponsor the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series.
Triton Poker, established in 2016, is a notable name in the poker community, renowned for its Super High Roller Series. The series has been held in various locations, attracting top poker players from around the world.
Under this partnership, every leg of the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series will feature a $25,000 buy-in WPT Global Slam Event. This event is scheduled to take place during the Triton Poker festival, primarily in early to mid-September 2025, at Jeju's Landing Casino & Resort in South Korea.
The Triton One festival, running from September 2 to 8, 2025, will host multiple events, including WPT Global satellite qualifiers. The WPT Global Slam main event is scheduled for September 10, 2025, at 3 PM, as part of the Super High Roller Series Jeju II starting on September 9, 2025, at 1 PM.
Satellite qualifiers for the WPT Global Slam will take place during the Triton One festival, with one notable qualifier event happening on September 7, 2025. Additionally, promotions linked to these satellites and events include leaderboards and contests such as the $50K QQPK Player One leaderboard contest at Triton One Jeju, offering extra incentives and seats into the Global Slam or other Triton events.
WPT Global, which started in 2002 and has organized several global poker series, has also brought in Chinese esports player Xue Hong-Wei and NHL star Phil Kessel as Ambassadors. Alex Scott, the CEO of WPT Global, leads the company.
