Scottie Scheffler's victory at The Open Championship at Royal Portrush marks a significant milestone in his career, as it marks the third leg of a potential career Grand Slam. The World No.1's near-perfect performance at the tournament secured him the Claret Jug, golf's most prestigious trophy.

Following his historic win, Scheffler made a surprising appearance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. He walked on stage with the Claret Jug in hand, much to the delight of the audience. Jimmy Fallon, ever the enthusiastic host, asked to see a picture of Scheffler with the trophy, which was shown on the screen.

The Claret Jug, fresh from its time on The Tonight Show, also made an appearance at the Happy Gilmore 2 premiere. The legendary trophy posed for photos and met with several members of the cast, including Rory McIlroy, Brooks Koepka, Justin Thomas, Will Zalatoris, and a host of other golfing greats such as Nelly Korda, Nancy Lopez, Verne Lundquist, and Jack Nicklaus.

Scheffler, along with his family, attended the premiere at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City. Sunny Sandler and Sadie Sandler, the stars of the second part of Happy Gilmore, were also present. Other golfing stars in attendance included Bryson DeChambeau, Tony Finau, Collin Morikawa, Michelle Wie, John Daly, Jim Furyk, and Fred Couples.

As Scheffler prepares to return home to Texas, he is set to defend his Tour Championship title in the revamped format. There are still two weeks of regular PGA Tour events to play prior to the FedEx Cup Playoffs commencing with the FedEx St Jude Championship at TPC Southwind between August 7-10.
