In the heart of Cologne, Germany, detectives from Criminal Investigation Unit 73 are on the hunt for a suspect involved in a series of thefts that occurred at the South Cemetery. The suspect is wanted for stealing purses from two women, aged 59 and 82, on February 13th, 2024, and April 2nd, 2024.
The suspect is believed to have bumped into the 59-year-old woman on February 13th, 2024, and managed to pull her wallet from her jacket pocket. Similarly, on April 2nd, 2024, the suspect allegedly took the purse of the 82-year-old woman from a car parked on the cemetery.
Following these thefts, the suspect is suspected of withdrawing large amounts of cash using the stolen EC cards at multiple banks.
