In a recent statement, Rayhaneh Sharif-Askary, the Head of Product and Research at Grayscale, highlighted the crucial roles of DeepBook and Walrus in the Sui ecosystem. According to Sharif-Askary, these two platforms serve as the financial and active data management backbones of Sui.

DeepBook, an on-chain order book, has reportedly handled over $10 billion in volume, demonstrating its significance within the Sui ecosystem. Walrus, on the other hand, offers programmable data storage, a feature that is integral to the functioning of the Sui blockchain.

Interestingly, Walrus has recently secured $140 million in funding, underscoring its growing influence. However, the statement made by Sharif-Askary did not provide any new information about the funding secured by Walrus or the volume handled by DeepBook.

The unique architecture of the Sui blockchain, according to Sharif-Askary, is a driver of efficiency and affordability. This architecture enables developers to build fast, secure, and decentralized applications on the Sui ecosystem, with DeepBook and Walrus at the forefront.

Grayscale, a leading digital asset management firm, has launched two single-asset trusts linked to the Sui ecosystem protocols, DeepBook and Walrus (WAL). These trusts allow accredited investors to access their native tokens directly. This move further cements Grayscale's commitment to the Sui ecosystem.

It's worth noting that Grayscale's first Sui product was launched nearly a year ago. Since then, the company has been actively involved in the Sui ecosystem, with Sharif-Askary leading product strategy and research initiatives, including the launch of innovative investment products related to blockchain ecosystems such as Sui.

However, the statement did not provide any new information about the launch dates or accessibility of the Grayscale trusts linked to the Sui ecosystem protocols, DeepBook and Walrus (WAL). Nonetheless, this latest development underscores Grayscale's continued support for the Sui ecosystem and the growing importance of DeepBook and Walrus within it.

In addition, EXANTE account, which provides access to more than 50 financial markets directly, including NASDAQ, London Stock Exchange, and Tokyo Stock Exchange, was not mentioned in the statement, suggesting that Grayscale's focus remains on the Sui ecosystem for now.
