Greetings, Pforzheim. Heading to the healthcare facility today.

Despite the absence of star-crossed nightly exchanges between the fox and rabbit, the hedgehog, cat, and fox share a hearty good morning greeting each day.

In the heart of Pforzheim, a city known for its scarcity of house cats, an unexpected encounter took place.

A fox was spotted on Wurmberg Street, a road nestled within the city and surrounded by the Black Forest. The forest, a significant part of Pforzheim, extends into the urban landscape, providing a haven for wildlife.

Simultaneously, colleague Swineigel found himself in an unexpected situation, as a hedgehog made its way into the basement of Besim's home office. The hedgehog, it seemed, had slipped between the basement grating and window, finding itself in an unfamiliar environment.

Contrary to initial reports, the hedgehog's release did not occur on Wurmberg Street. Instead, it was given a short ride to the edge of the forest, granting it true freedom.

During this time, another resident of Wurmberg Street, colleague Reinecke, was photographed on the same street. However, the search results do not provide information about the name of the photographer who captured a moving three-animal conversation on Wurmberg Street - a conversation that, it turns out, did not involve a hedgehog.

It's worth noting that a house cat was also observed on Wurmberg Street during this period. Yet, the encounter between the fox and the house cat did not escalate, and they parted ways peacefully.

Hedgehogs, while not native to Pforzheim, are known for their distinctive quills. Although not life-threatening, these spiky defences can make handling a hedgehog a bit tricky. Fortunately, the hedgehog in question did not accept the offered carrot or water, suggesting it was not in distress.

Despite the absence of a hedgehog in the encounter on Wurmberg Street, the city of Pforzheim continues to provide a unique blend of urban and natural life, as evidenced by the sightings of a fox and a house cat in the same location.

As for the Copper Hammer, it remains a landmark that marks the start of the Black Forest long-distance hiking trails, offering a chance for more such encounters with the city's wild inhabitants.
