City Festival 2025: A Four-Day Celebration in Baunatal
Get ready for an unforgettable summer experience as the City Festival returns to Baunatal from Thursday, 3rd July to Sunday, 6th July 2025. This year's event promises to be the largest yet, attracting locals and visitors from the region.
The festival will feature three live stages, a free kids' area, and an amusement mile with attractions like a carousel, bumper cars, and a Ferris wheel. The main stage will host a variety of performances, including the best and most popular Robbie Williams tribute show in Europe, THE ROBBIE EXPERIENCE, on Saturday evening. Mario Nowack, winner of the RTL II casting "My Name Is", will perform as "Robbie" in this explosive show.
On Friday evening, the Market Square will transform into a party zone with DJs KRAFTY and HOLD UP. On Saturday night, Jens Walkenhorst will perform WILD NIGHT - party rock from North Hesse. The Local DJ Night will take place on Sunday starting at 7 PM, featuring Dj Andy El Maestro, Dj Tobbi, Dj Crazy Lou b2b Dj Hold Up, Janek O., and Henner Montana.
Rogue, a Schwalm rock band, will make their city festival debut on Sunday at 5:30 PM. Rolling Joe & The Pushers, the teacher band of the Theodor-Heuss-Schule, will present rock and pop from six decades with a healthy dose of Cocker. Markus Zosel, a singer-songwriter and author from Niedenstein in North Hesse, will kick off the [23225] stage program at the cathedral church.
Around 1,000 small and large artists from the city and the region will perform on the stages. Many local associations, choirs, schools, and kindergartens contribute to the afternoon program. The Klimperkasten stage program on Thursday will feature Su-Min and Madroom at 8 PM and 9:30 PM respectively. Madroom is a unique band consisting of a distorted guitar, an incredible drum, a driving bass, a virtuosic piano with deep vocals, and an angelic voice that also likes to accompany itself on the guitar.
The VIER GEWINNT Tribute Show, a cover band that raps the hits of the Fantastic Four (Smudo, Thomas D, Michi Beck, and Andy Y) with great diligence and dedication, will perform on Thursday evening on the main stage.
