Greetings to the collective of urban propagators!

In the heart of Bavaria, the city of Landshut is embracing the future with open arms as it welcomes 43 new apprentices to its ranks. The young individuals, representing a mix of talents and aspirations, will be working in the offices and facilities of the City Administration, the Holy Spirit Hospital Foundation, and the Landshut City Works.

The Mayor of Landshut, in a heartfelt address, emphasized the importance of these apprentices, not just as the skilled workers of tomorrow, but as ambassadors of the city's future. He encouraged them to share their ideas for the further development of Landshut, as he believes in their potential to shape the city's destiny.

While digitalization is set to increase efficiency in the long run, the Mayor acknowledged that it cannot replace the essential role of personal contact persons. This is particularly true in classic bureaucratic procedures, such as the Registry Office and the Social Welfare Office, where personal interaction remains crucial.

The apprentices will have the opportunity to work with colleagues from various fields, gaining a broad understanding of the city's operations. From education and childcare to infrastructure, culture, sports, economics, integration, and environmental protection, the training offered by the City Administration is varied and comprehensive.

The available apprenticeships include specialist roles in computer science, administrative assistant, construction designer, firefighter, caregiver in the city's foundation homes, and educator, with the possibility of dual study. At the Holy Spirit Hospital Foundation, no less than 10 apprentices are learning a trade.

The City Administration is one of the largest employers in the region, and the municipal employees work together with great motivation to meet the needs of the citizens and ensure their quality of life. The city corporation includes the Landshut Clinic, where 12 apprentices are currently contributing to its operations.

Meanwhile, at the city works, 12 apprentices are honing their skills. The personnel council representatives have promised the apprentices the best possible support on their professional journey.

This year, 12 young people are starting their apprenticeship in the inner administration, 4 are embarking on a dual study, and 5 young people are doing an internship or vocational training. The search for new talent for the year 2025 is currently underway.

For those interested in joining this vibrant community, all training opportunities can be found on the city's applicant portal at www.our website/ausbildung. Landshut, with its rich history and forward-thinking approach, offers several options in Bavaria, including Munich, Augsburg, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Mühldorf (Inn), and Rosenheim.

As the city continues to grow and evolve, these new apprentices will play a significant role in shaping its future. The Mayor, the employees, and the citizens of Landshut welcome them with open arms and high hopes for a prosperous and successful journey ahead.
