Grey appoints Javier Campopiano as Global Creative Partner
John Patroulis, worldwide chief creative officer of the global agency network, has announced the promotion of Javier Campopiano to the role of global creative partner at Grey.
Campopiano, who previously held the post of chief creative officer for Grey Europe and creative chairman for the U.K. branch, will now oversee creative work across Europe and Asia. He will be based in Spain.
Campopiano moved to Grey from FCB Mexico in 2019, where he held a role in Mexico. Prior to joining Grey, he was chief creative officer at Saatchi & Saatchi London.
John Patroulis described Campopiano as a deeply talented creative and leader, praising his contributions to the agency network. "Javier is a visionary who brings a unique perspective to our creative work," said Patroulis. "I am excited to see what he will achieve in his new role."
Campopiano is known for the multi-award-winning "It's a Tide Ad" series, which was created during his tenure at a previous role. The series, which features unexpected product placements for Tide in popular television shows and movies, has been widely praised for its creativity and innovation.
In his new role, Campopiano will report directly to Patroulis. He will be responsible for overseeing creative work for the agency network, which has a global structure.
