halfway through Cologne's roadway

Starting next Monday, March 22, 2021, the Cologne Street towards Grimlinghausen in the City of Neuss will undergo repairs to address defects and drainage issues. The civil engineering management of the city, Tiefbaumanagement der Stadt Neuss, will be responsible for the road construction.

The closure will last approximately 100 meters, starting at the traffic island and ending at the street entrance "At the Erft Mouth". During this period, the entrance area "At the Erft Mouth" will be closed on one side, and residents can only enter the Cologne Street to the right, in the direction of Grimlinghausen.

Traffic will be safely guided past the construction site using a traffic signal. The traffic signal will ensure the smooth flow of vehicles, despite the ongoing work. However, short-term restrictions may occur during the work.

Rest assured, fire and rescue vehicles can access the properties "At the Erft Mouth" at any time, ensuring the safety of the local residents.

The work is expected to be completed by Easter, bringing much-needed improvements to the Cologne Street.
