The much-anticipated Hangang Drone Light Show is set to illuminate the skies of Seoul this Sunday evening. The event, which will take place near Ttukseom Hangang Park in Gwangjin-gu, offers a free, spectacular display of 1,200 drones lighting up iconic Seoul landmarks such as Cheongdam Bridge and Bukchon Hanok Village.

Visitors are advised to check the official Seoul City website or Instagram for any updates regarding potential changes to the schedule due to weather conditions like heavy rain or strong winds.

In addition to the mesmerising drone show, there will be a special photo zone event where visitors can take photos with special costumes and face painting. The event will also feature the KPop Demon Hunters, along with popular Kakao Friends characters in a unique collaboration.

Before and after the show, dance cover programs and pop music performances themed around KPop Demon Hunters are planned. However, the city government has yet to specify the locations for these additional shows.

For those planning to attend, the closest exit to Ttukseom Hangang Park is Exit No. 1 of Jayang Station on Seoul Subway Line No. 7. While Exits Nos. 2 and 3 may be crowded, they are also accessible options.

The Hangang Drone Light Show is not a one-time event. Four more shows are planned this fall, on Sept. 13, Sept. 20, Sept. 26, and Oct. 18. Unfortunately, the search results do not provide information on the artists performing alongside the Kakao Friends characters during these autumn shows.

Regardless, this promises to be an unforgettable experience, blending technology, art, and music in a way that only Seoul can. So, grab your umbrella, head to Ttukseom Hangang Park, and prepare to be amazed as the skies come alive with the Hangang Drone Light Show.
