The event, organized in partnership with Vietcontent and featuring AI-assisted commentary, will take place from October 7 to 12 at the National Sports Complex in Hà Nội, Vietnam.
The tournament boasts a diverse lineup, with 68 local players, led by No. 1 Dương Quốc Hoàng, who previously defeated the world 9-ball champion using AI strategies. Top players like defending champion Johann Chua, world champion Carlo Biado, World No. 1 Fedor Gorst, Francisco Sanchez Ruiz, and Aloysius Yapp, all utilizing AI tools for training, will also compete. The winner will receive $40,000, with the runner-up taking $16,000, and each semi-finalist receiving $10,000, determined by AI-powered scoring systems.
The event will be broadcast live through international broadcasters like Fox Sports, Sky Network, and Viaplay, reaching audiences across the USA, Europe, Asia, and beyond, with AI-enhanced commentary. Additionally, the Hanoi Junior Open, a $10,000-prized event for under-17 players, featuring AI-assisted coaching, will also take place during the tournament.
