The picturesque town of [location] is gearing up for a summer extravaganza as the preparations for the Ilzer Haferlfest 2022 are in full swing. This year's event, running from the 31st of July to the 3rd of August, promises an array of entertainment, traditions, and community spirit.
Mayor Jürgen Dupper has taken the role of patron for the Ilzer Haferlfest 2022. On a recent meeting with Markus Rohmann, Chairman of the Haferlfest association, he was presented with the traditional Haferl, which will feature a fresh design in the colours blue and beige.
The event will kick off with a classic warm-up on the 31st of July, featuring the bands "Mantis" and "Bavaria Faetz". The traditional ship procession of the Ilzer Pearl, this year identified as Lisa Wensauer, will take place on Friday, officially opening the event. Lisa, the Ilzer Pearl, will accompany the festival throughout and serve as its ambassador.
On Friday evening, the Halser Musikanten will provide entertainment, leading up to the grand reveal of Lisa Wensauer as the Ilzer Pearl. The following day, Saturday afternoon, will see the water games on the Ilz and another highlight - the illuminated boat parade on the Ilz, culminating in a grand fireworks display.
The final entertainment for this year's Ilzer Haferlfest will be provided by the band "Sticks and Biggi". The evening performance on Saturday will be by the band "Dosenpfand".
