Boys' Soccer Division III Tournaments Highlighted on August 30

On Saturday, August 30, the Boys' Soccer Division III tournaments in Cicero-North Syracuse, Adirondack, and Fabius-Pompey were particularly significant. The results from these tournaments were highlighted due to their impact on league standings and the impressive performances showcased.

In the Cicero-North Syracuse Tournament, New Hartford emerged victorious with a 3-0 win against Cicero-North Syracuse. Utica Proctor also impressed with a 6-0 victory over PSLA @ Fowler. The Cicero-North Syracuse tournament saw some tight matches, with the Copenhagen Tournament and Fabius-Pompey Tournament offering similar nail-biting encounters.

The Copenhagen Tournament saw Adirondack take the lead against General Brown with a score of 3-2. Copenhagen also claimed victory in their match against Phoenix with a score of 2-0. Another exciting match saw Poland defeat Pulaski 5-2.

Meanwhile, at the Fabius-Pompey Tournament, Hamilton managed to secure a narrow 1-0 win against Fabius-Pompey.

In non-league games, Nottingham dominated Watertown with a 5-0 win, while Westhill edged past Baldwinsville with a 2-0 victory. Fulton also secured a hard-fought 5-4 win against Central Valley Academy.

In girls' soccer matches, Jamesville-DeWitt won 3-0 against Oneida, Onondaga/LaFayette defeated Moravia 6-4 at the McGraw Tournament, and Syracuse won 6-2 against Fulton at the Baldwinsville Tournament. The Copenhagen Tournament saw Copenhagen defeat General Brown 3-0 in a girls' soccer match, Cortland defeated McGraw 2-1, and Poland defeated Johnson City 5-2. Manlius Pebble Hill also secured a 4-0 win against Sherburne-Earlville.

The boys' soccer matches at the McGraw Tournament saw McGraw defeat Cortland 3-0 and Homer edge past Moravia 1-0. Christian Brothers Academy also had a successful day, winning 2-0 against CBA Albany in a boys' soccer match and 5-2 against Baldwinsville in a girls' soccer match at the Baldwinsville Tournament.
