Celebrating 75 Years: The Ostheim Riding and Driving Club's Anniversary Event
The Ostheim Riding and Driving Club is set to celebrate its 75th anniversary with a two-day event on September 20th and 21st, 2025. The festivities will be held at the club grounds and will offer a variety of activities and entertainment for all ages.
On Saturday, the celebration kicks off with a sparkling wine reception and dinner starting from 6 pm. The evening will also feature a festive atmosphere with awards, socializing, and a barbecue. The band "JENNY AND THE GANG" will perform starting from 9 pm, and entry is free.
The Rhön-Grabfeld Cup for carriage drivers final will take place in the evening on Saturday, September 20th, 2025. The award ceremony for the final will follow on Sunday, September 21st, 2025. The awards ceremony will also include club honoring by BLSV, represented by Klaus Greier, and honoring long-standing members.
On Sunday, various offers will be available for children to let off steam and have fun. The children's program will start at 1:30 pm, and parents can enjoy the afternoon while their children participate in activities such as face painting, hobbyhorsing, and a machinery exhibition.
Lunch on Sunday will include roast with dumplings and red cabbage, as well as grilled food with musical entertainment by the Schmetz band. After lunch, a coffee bar with homemade cakes will be open from 1:30 pm.
The Rhön-Grabfeld Cup for carriage drivers tournament will take place at the club grounds starting at 10 am on Sunday, September 21st, 2025.
