Experience a memorable evening at the Rudd Estate vineyards and adjoining gardens, as Press restaurant invites you to their inaugural Between the Vines dinner event on September 20.

This exclusive event, taking place at the by-appointment-only vineyard known for its renowned Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec, will honour the wines of the Rudd Estate, founded in 1996.

Leslie Rudd, the late hospitality mogul, opened Press restaurant, and his daughter Samantha now owns both the winery and the restaurant. Samantha will personally retrieve rare vintages and large-format bottles from the Rudd family cellars for the dinner.

Chef Philip Tessier and his team will cook in the open air, over fire, for the Between the Vines dinner. The menu reflects Press's more refined regular offering but nudges towards an informal edge, inspired by the al-fresco setting. Dishes include jars of trout rillette, scorched octopus with eggplant, charcoal-roasted potatoes, grilled tomahawk steaks, and smoked mushrooms.

Dessert will be served by the lake and made by Under-Study, a local bakery, cafe, and marketplace under the Rudd family umbrella. The dessert will be a Napa Valley pear and almond tart with poached grapes and piles of chantilly cream.

The VIP package is available for two people and includes the entire Between the Vines dining experience, transportation to and from the winery, and an exclusive test drive of the newest BMWs, provided in partnership with BMW. A limited run of extra tickets for the Between the Vines dinner has been released, including VIP packages.

The Between the Vines dinner event is experiencing a near sell-out, so book your tickets now at opentable.com. More Between the Vines events are promised for the future, making this a dining experience not to be missed. Press restaurant has been a staple in the Napa dining scene for over two decades, and this event is set to continue its legacy of exceptional dining experiences.
