The German basketball team, currently performing well at EuroBasket, has expressed dissatisfaction with their accommodation, which is located on the western side of the Daugava River, not in the popular old town of Riga.

According to DBB Vice President Armin Andres, the hotel does not meet the standards for the tournament. One of the main concerns is the noise from a nearby multi-lane highway, which has been a source of discomfort for the team.

The dissatisfaction with their accommodation has been made public, and a request for a hotel move has been submitted to FIBA. However, the decision about the relocation of the German basketball national team in Riga is typically made by the team's management or the German Basketball Federation (DBB).

Earlier, it was reported by Bild that the German team plans to relocate from their current hotel. If approved by FIBA, there should be plenty of available rooms in the old town of Riga, where the Serbians, Latvians, and Portuguese teams are currently staying.

However, it's worth noting that all three teams have been eliminated in the round of 16 at EuroBasket.

The German team's dissatisfaction with the quality of catering at their EuroBasket accommodation is also a concern. Dennis Schröder and his teammates have voiced their displeasure, adding to the ongoing issues with their accommodation.

The German team's accommodation issues at EuroBasket are being addressed with FIBA, and a resolution is yet to be reached. The team's performance on the court remains strong, but the off-court concerns continue to cause concern for the team and their supporters.
