Aito Unveils Updated M7 and M8 SUVs: Battery Powered Vehicles with Impressive Range
Aito, a leading automotive manufacturer, has unveiled the updated versions of its popular M7 and M8 SUVs. The updated models, set to hit the market on September 23, 2025, promise improved dimensions, enhanced power systems, and impressive range capabilities.
The updated Aito M7 SUV measures 5,080 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, 1,780 mm in height, and boasts a wheelbase of 3,030 mm. This makes it slightly larger than its predecessor, which measures 5,020 mm in length, 1,945 mm in width, 1,760 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,820 mm.
Powering the updated M7 are batteries supplied by CATL. The BEV variants of the updated M7 feature a 100 kWh battery pack, while the EREV variants offer battery pack capacities of 37 kWh and 53 kWh.
In a significant move, the updated M7 will incorporate Huawei's high-voltage electric drive platform. This partnership is expected to enhance the vehicle's performance and efficiency.
The updated M7 will offer both BEV and EREV variants. The BEV variants of the updated M7 promise a maximum range exceeding 700 kilometers, making it one of the longest-range electric SUVs in its class. The combined range of EREV variants when fully fueled and charged exceeds 1,600 kilometers, offering a compelling option for those seeking extended driving capabilities.
Huawei is also backing the launch of the BEV variant of the Aito M8 SUV. In a remarkable showing, the company secured 7,000 orders for the M8 BEV within just 2 hours of its unveiling.
With these updates, Aito continues to push the boundaries of electric vehicle technology, offering vehicles with impressive range, advanced power systems, and sleek, modern designs.
