In the coming year, the workplace landscape is set for a significant transformation. According to David Albright, Senior Business Development Manager at Legrand | AV, this shift will be driven by a focus on a culture of belonging in hybrid workplaces.

As many as 40 AV/IT companies are expected to release their roadmaps for 2024, aiming to address the new workplace paradigm defined by five pillars: achieving meeting equity, fast and repeatable success, adaptability, reliability, and familiarity.

Strategic deployment of Advanced Vehicle (AV) systems is expected to enhance collaboration in hybrid work environments. AI-controlled multi-camera systems with spatial audio enhancements are being deployed in premium spaces like boardrooms, ensuring everyone is seen and heard. Medium to large conference rooms are being equipped with AV solutions and furniture designed for optimal audio and video coverage of in-person and remote attendees. Larger displays or laser projection systems with ambient-light-rejecting screens are being used to maximize screen real estate in these spaces.

The demand for various space sizes and types, including focus rooms and small meeting spaces, is increasing. Teams and Zoom Room systems are being deployed in spaces previously set up for Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) in the hybrid workplace.

The focus on collaboration extends to other areas as well. 15 Thought Leaders are focusing on Esports, Streaming Technologies, Next-Gen Audio, and Visualization Technologies. These advancements are aimed at delivering efficient meeting space deployments, anticipating future needs, and contributing to uninterrupted conferencing experiences.
