Identified Suspects in Rust Case by Polish Authorities
In a shocking turn of events, a 6-year-old girl lost her parents at an adventure pool in Rust, Baden-Württemberg, on Saturday, 9th August 2025. A stranger lured the girl away from the pool's interior and ordered her to perform sexual acts on him in an adjacent forest area.
The suspect, a 31-year-old man from the region, was identified with the support of the leisure pool operator through image and video material. The competent local court has issued a search warrant for his apartment, and an arrest warrant for suspicion of child sexual abuse, at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office in Freiburg.
The crime scene is located in the area of Sportplatzstraße/Fabrikstraße in Grafenhausen, five kilometers away from the leisure pool. The girl was found around 22:20 on Sportplatzstraße/Fabrikstraße in Grafenhausen.
