In the city and district of Offenbach, a series of traffic violations and drug-related crimes have been reported over the past week.

Firstly, a 42-year-old individual is currently under investigation for suspected drunk driving, fencing, and driving an e-scooter with an expired insurance sticker. The e-scooter, which was found to be stolen, was discovered in Berliner Straße and returned to its rightful owner. Further investigation revealed that the e-scooter had been reported stolen. The 42-year-old is now facing charges for suspected fencing.

Another traffic violation incident occurred in Frankfurter Straße, where a 44-year-old e-scooter driver was found with 41 grams of cannabis. The driver was also suspected of driving under the influence and lacking insurance, resulting in multiple charges.

Uninsured e-scooters continue to cause problems in Offenbach. A 17-year-old in Liebigstraße was stopped without valid insurance for an e-scooter.

Elsewhere in the district, Officers discovered a 50-year-old man in Kaiserstraße with a surprise egg containing amphetamine, leading to a criminal charge for violating the Narcotics Act.

In Mainstraße, a 24-year-old individual was found with 27 grams of cannabis and hashish. The possession was outside his home, leading to a fine for violating the Medicinal Cannabis Act (MedCanG).
