WSOPC Tallinn: International Six-Handed Final Table and Main Event Kickoff
The World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) Tallinn is in full swing, with a diverse international lineup battling it out in high-stakes events. The €5,000 NLH 6-Max event saw a six-handed final table featuring players from Spain, China, Ukraine, and multiple northern European nations.
In a thrilling turn of events, David Vinaya from Norway secured his second career ring by taking down the €5,000 NLH event. Vinaya's victory earned him a first-place prize of €94,280. Ritvars Cekalins from Latvia finished as the runner-up, while Juan Carlos Vecino Duenas from Spain took third place.
Meanwhile, Toni H. J. Niinivaara from Finland won the €555 NLH event, topping a massive field and earning his first ring title. Roy Van Der Reijnst from the Netherlands finished in second place, and Raivis Pucurs from Latvia claimed third. Mathias Siljander, a former Kings of Tallinn Main Event champion, added another WSOPC ring to his resume by winning the €1,100 PLO4/5 event.
The festival is still firing on all cylinders as it moves towards the climax, with the usual glut of satellites and side events ongoing in the Estonian capital. The schedule for Thursday, July 31, includes the No Limit Hold'em WSOPC Main Event Flight 1D (Ring Event #5), starting at 12:00 PM with a buy-in of €1,500 and a starting stack of 50,000 chips at the Olympic Park Casino. The WSOPC €1,100 8-Game Final Day also kicks off at 13:00 (1:00 PM), also held at Olympic Park Casino.
In addition, the final two Main Event flights, Day 1d and 1e, get underway today. Hundreds of hopefuls have already battled for a bag and a shot at the €1 million guaranteed prize pool in Days 1b and 1c of the WSOPC Tallinn Main Event.
